This year, I'm looking forward to more hiking and kayaking, once the weather warms. For now though, I am getting in some good walks and a little hiking. Grateful for this time to linger in nature and listen to her songs. And yes, the ever present tech, which I don't want to ignore. Two worlds meeting, technology and nature. Happy New Year, Paul.
It's a question that dogs me. I'd rather not have a phone with me, but it's a good thing to have in an emergency. The other thing about a phone, is I sometimes like to take pictures. So it's not a fixed answer. Sometimes I take my phone with me and sometimes I'm happy to leave it at home.

Happy New Year to you!
Do you want cell connectivity when you’re walking in nature, or do you leave it behind? I’d almost be afraid not to have my phone always with me.

You're right about taking pictures. Taking my "camera" with me everywhere I go makes a lot of sense :)
Here’s to a great year ahead.
Thanks so much - the same to you and yours!
