I’ve read about a couple of the folks you mention - non-boring lawyers, organizational specialists - and hope they’re an inspiration for others who see it’s not impossible to combine decades of wisdom and experience with basic technology to come up with fresh approach to addressing business challenges. The part of your piece I liked best? Giving Zuckerberg his comeuppance. Crow is best served cold.

You're so right - industry specific experience — combined with the roadblocks that have been broken down by technology — have opened a whole new playing field for those who still want another chapter. REDIRECTED, not RETIRED.... and loving it!
