One caveat; stay away from the suction grab bars. They will stick for a couple of showers but they eventually fail. I learned this lesson the hard way.

I love this perspective. As an occupational therapist, I have always believed that some of the simplest environmental changes can make the biggest difference in safety and independence. A grab bar in the right place, good nighttime lighting, a shower seat, or a handheld showerhead may not feel like “technology,” but they can completely change how safely and confidently someone manages their daily routine. I especially love your advice to start with the task that is difficult and then find the solution. So important for aging in place!
